Welcome to my website! I am currently in the process of tweaking some things here so if anything doesn’t work like you think it should, I apologize in advance! I mainly use this as a hub for all of my content in one convenient place.
How to Use the Site:
Resume tab: A traditionally formatted resume along with my television credits.
Writing tab: My work published on other sites, like IndieReader, WinkBooks and the Philadelphia Dance Journal.
Video tab: A gallery of some of my favorite videos I’ve produced, including promos done for CBS and DIY.
BLG Archive: The archived blog posts for the Brotherly Love Gaming podcast, a gaming podcast/YouTube show I used to produce with my brother Spence.
About Alex:
Alex does not like writing about himself in the third person, but that’s the way bios are supposed to be. Alex is an award winning video professional with dozens of television credits, as well as commercials, short films, screenplays, and more. Since 2020 he has had the privilege of editing the popular podcasts Retronauts, Talking Simpsons, and What A Cartoon. As a critic, Alex’s work has been featured in outlets like the Philadelphia Dance Journal, WinkBooks, WinkFun, and Cracked. As a filmmaker, Alex’s screenplays and films have appeared in the Bucks Fever Film Fest, 72ScriptFest, Dance Shorts, and more, while his commercial work has aired on such networks as ABCFamily and ESPN. In 2015, Alex was a winner of the Nickelodeon Script First Contest, which led to the sale of his first animated TV pilot script, Shape Quest. He spent 8 years with reality TV production company Juma Entertainment, crafting hit shows like Pool Kings and The Greatest #AtHome Videos. Some of the promotional videos Alex created for these shows can be viewed in the video tab.
Alex holds a degree in Television/Film from DeSales University. Currently he lives outside Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
